The resident said that they heard a loud band around 2am and found the hole and broken glass in their kitchen later that morning. Nobody was injured.
Police have said that their investigation determined that the gunshot came from the neighboring apartment. This apartment belonged to Probationary Police Officer Jamal Vilmont, 28.
"This was an occupied apartment, and for this bullet to come through the wall, it's very concerning, and it could have been alot worse, but fortunately, there were no injuries", said Heather Hamel, of the Manchester Police Department.
Concord Police had confirmed that the department-issued gun that Jamal had been issued was not involved in the shooting.
Vilmont was released on bail and is expected to appear in court next month.
