Last year a data archive of New Hampshire residents' medical info had occured.
In a letter to the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office, Transformative Healthcare alleged that the hack came from an archived version of their data. This archive previously belonged to Fallon Ambulance Service.
Who is Fallon Ambulance Service? Well their website says this about who they are:
"Fallon was a medical transportation company that, in part, responded to patient emergencies in the greater Boston area and provided administrative services for affiliated medical transportation companies. Fallon ceased operations in December 2022 but, to comply with legal obligations, has mantained an archived copy of data previously stored on its computer systems".
Some of the files mentioned had contained the names, addresses, social security numbers and medical information of New Hampshire residents.
Officials so far believe that atleast 63,000 have been impacted in New Hampshire.
Transformative Healthcare is in the process of contacting over 900,000 people, to warn them of the data breach.
