Last tuesday a 15 year old boy was stabbed in Povidence City, Rhode Island on Sumter Street.
He was stabbed in the back for his sneakers while he was running away from his attacker, according to the young victim.
Officials have said that the victim suffered minor injuries, and was transported to Hasbro Children's Hospital for his injuries.
Authorities have yet to say whether or not the attacker has been apprehended.
