Portuguese Illegal Aliens Murder Child

Boston's Enforcement and Removal Operations unit (ERO) has arrested 3 Portuguese illegal aliens who had recently been charged with Child Endangerment after the death of a 1 year old in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
These illegal Portuguese aliens were 3 women of the ages 32, 25 and 22. They were all arrested on 2/17/2024 by ERO following their original arrest on 2/11/2024.

"The alleged crimes of these unlawfully present individuals resulted in the death of an innocent child", said the ERO Boston Field Office Director Todd M. Lyons. "Those who commit crimes against children must be held accountable. Unlawfully present foreign nationals posing a danger to our New England communities cannot expect to escape the consequences of their actions".

The Pawtucket Police also arrested a 25 year old man who alleged to be the child's father.

The 3 Portuguese women were charged with Felony Child Endangerment; the alleged father was charged with Manslaughter, 3 counts of 2nd Degree Child Abuse and Child Endangerment.

The Pawtucket Police had responded to a residence emergency call and had found the boy unresponsive with major bruising to his face; only to later be pronounced dead at the local hospital.

Of the 3 female Portuguese illegal aliens, 1 had been admitted as a "nonimmigrant tourist visitor" in April of 1998, and unlawfully remained in the U.S more than 25 years beyond what her visa had allowed.
The other 2 female Portuguese illegal aliens were admitted to the U.S under a "Visa Waiver program" - one in July of 2016 and the other in March of 2022 - and both had violated the terms of their visa waivers by remaining in the nation longer than they were allowed.

After their arraignment, the 3 illegal alien Portuguese woman had posted bail and was released by the 6th Division District Court of Rhode Island. The child's alleged father was remanded to the Adult Correctional Institutions in Cranston, Rhode Island.

ERO is the principal Federal Law Enforcement authority in charge of Domestic Immigration Enforcement. Their missions is to protect the homeland throught the arrest and removal of those who undermine the safety of U.S communities and the integrity of U.S immigration laws; and its primary areas of focus are interior enforcement operations, management of the agency's detained and non-detained populations and the repatriation of noncitizens who have received final orders of removal.

If you wish to help ERO with their efforts, please report the crimes of illegal aliens to 866-347-2423 or by completing their Online Tip Forms.
