Republicans Attack Defenders of Children

New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella, Republican

Today, New Hampshire's Attorney General John Formella - a republican - filed a suit against NSC 131, in connection to "an incident" outside a café in Concord earlier this year.

This suit is targeted against the group's leader, Christopher Hood, and 19 other unnamed members.

On June 18, the Attorney General's office said:
"Hood lead 19 others in an attempt to incite, compel or coerce the Teatotaller Café in Concord to cancel a planned drag queen story hour event and to terrorize the café into refusing performers access to its venue for no other reason than sex, sexual orientation and/or gender identity of those performers."

"It's not 'I'm standing outside holding a sign and sort of peacefully demonstrating'. It is designed to invade the space, it's designed to disrupt what happened that day" - said John Locke, Senior Assistant Attorney General for NH, and Civil Rights Unit Director.
"The complaint alleges that these actions taken together, constituted an attempt to incite, compel, or coerce the TeaTotaller Café into violating the Law Against Discrimination".

(John Locke is also a Republican.)

A conviction of this type would result in a $10,000 fine, and further encroachment from Law Enforcement.


Opinion

It's no surprise that 2 Republicans are sticking up for Groomers instead of their own voter-base (Young Whites). After all, Republicans today are just democrats from 10 years ago.
