Patricia LaFrance, a legal analyst, said that under procedural rules, the prosecutors will have to make the case that those alleged actions are directly linked to Harmony's murder.
The defence team is also asking for info about his estranged wife, Kayla Montgomery, to be allowed; seeking to include elements of her criminal record, including convictions for drugs and lying under oath.
According to court records, Kayla Montgomery is the one who told investigators that Adam Montgomery killed his daughter Harmony.
Harmony Montgomery's body has not been found as of this posting.
